Cable Cradle
|  Our Cable cradle is designed for small drums up to 100kg. The large pneumatic wheels and tilt up design make it easy to manoeuvre on rough ground. It’s hot dipped galvanised finish is designed to last even in the roughest environments.

Large Cable Drum Frame Type 1
16 Tonne rated frame to take maximum roll size of 2800mm diam x 2500mm width
- Frame dimensions Base 2865mm x 2400mm. Height 2100mm.
- Fabricated from 180x75 Parallel Flange Channel (C Channel) with two 200x100 Rectangular hollow section struts placed for forklift pick up.
- The top section comprises of grade 4140 high tensile steel rollers supporting a shaft. The shaft is a 116mm Grade 4140 High Tensile solid steel bar.
- Finish - 2.5 Class Blast, Zinc Phosphate 2 pack primer, Poly U 400 Top Coat, (Range of colours available)

Engineered Cone / Sleeves to increase shaft size to inside diameter of drum size and manual braking system.
Large Cable Drum Frame Type 2
12 Tonne rated frame to take maximum roll size of 2800mm diam x 2100mm width
- Frame dimensions Base 2635mm x 2400mm. Height 1752mm.
- Fabricated from 150x75 Parallel Flange Channel (C Channel) with two 200x100 Rectangular hollow section struts placed for forklift pick up.
- The top section comprises of grade 4140 high tensile steel rollers supporting a shaft. The shaft is a 102mm Grade 4140 High Tensile solid steel bar.
- Finish - 2.5 Class Blast, Zinc Phosphate 2 pack primer, Poly U 400 Top Coat, (Range of colours available)

- Fabricated from 125x65 Parrellel Flange Channel (C Channel) with two 200x100 Rectangular hollow section struts placed for forklift pick up.
- Top section comprises of high tensile steel 4140 solid bar rollers supporting the shaft. Shaft is a 72mm Grade 4140 High Tensile solid steel bar.

1 Tonne rated frame to take maximum roll size of 1600mm diam x 1100mm wide.
- Frame dimensions Base 1350mm x 1600mm. Height 1200mm.
- Fabricated from 75x40 Parallel Flange Channel (C Channel) with two 200x100 Rectangular hollow section struts placed for forklift pick up.
- Top Section comprising of Steel plate with 75x75x6 Equal Angle rester to take shaft, a 16mm rod and linch pin to hold the shaft in place. Exterior end of angle capped to prevent shaft movement from side to side. Shaft is 40NB Pipe in medium wall with an outside diameter of 48.3mm (before galvanising).
- Finish – Choice of hot dip galvanised or 2.5 Class Blast, Zinc Phosphate 2 pack primer, Poly U 400 Top Coat, (Range of colours available)

Small Cable Drum Frame Type 6
1 Tonne rated frame to take 3 rolls maximum size 600mm diam x 600mm wide.
- Frame Dimensions Base 2365mm x 600mm. Height 800mm.
- Design. This frame has two end upright triangles as per the other frames. It also has two centre upright triangles. Therefore the three rolls will each sit in their own partitioned section with their own shaft and locking device.
- Fabricated from 75x40 Parallel Flange Channel (C Channel) with two 200x100 Rectangular hollow section struts placed for forklift pick up.
- Top Section comprising of Steel plate with 75x75x6 Equal Angle rester to take shaft, a 16mm rod and lynch pin to hold the shaft in place. Exterior end of angle capped to prevent shaft movement from side to side. 3 Shafts from 40NB pipe medium wall with outside diameter of 48.3mm
