2011 – Gorgon - Transport Barges

Our client holds a contract to transport, via barge, goods and products from their base in Henderson to Barrow Island for the Gorgon project. At low tide the barges were to low compared with the wharf and loading had to cease until the tide increased again.
TCG Industries were contracted to fabricate and supply a low tide transition piece (to hold the ramp up at low tide). This piece measures approx 6.1mtrs x 4.5mtrs x 1.2mtrs high and weighs over 12 tonne. It was coated in a specialised marine coating followed by anti slip painting.

2011 – 2010 – Worsley Alumina Expansion

The Worsley Efficiency and Growth Project being built for Worsley Alumina Pty Ltd and will expand the Alumina plant to a maximum capacity of approximately 4.6 Mtpa.
TCG Industries is working for several of the main contractors on site supplying galvanised steel and fabricating such items as tilting light poles, brackets, plates and frames.

2010 – Gorgon Project

TCG Industries have fabricated and supplied cable drum frames to several large clients involved in the initial stages of Electrical Works at the Gorgon Project.
The 12 Tonne Cable Drum frame was supplied with a braking system to allow ease of operation. Engineered drawings and Strength Weight Loading Certificates were also supplied.

2010 – Boddington “Saddleback” Mine

TCG Industries have fabricated and supplied many items for this project. To enable the concrete to be poured to take the conveyer belt construction TCG Industries fabricated ten “Ground Footing Jigs”. A large jig fabricated to within 1.5mm tolerance these prices are placed by crane to allow the pouring of multiple concrete footings at one time.

Temporary Workshop Shelters – TCG Fabricated and supplied the framework for the temporary workshop shelters on site. We also fabricated and supplied work benches for on site use.

2010 – Pluto Project

Pluto LNG Project is set to become the fastest developed LNG project. From discovery in 2005, the first gas from the field is due in late 2010 and the first LNG in early 2011.
TCG Industries fabricated and supplied several hundred instrument stands, frames for junction boxes, weather shields and cable ladder supports. We also fabricated and supplied numerous plates, brackets frames and plinths. Our 12 Tonne cable drum frames were also used at Pluto.

2010 - Yandi

The Marillana Creek (Yandi) Mine is located approximately 90 kilometres (km) north-west of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Yandi Mine is operated by BHP Billiton Iron Ore Pty Ltd.

TCG Industries supplied instrument stands, sunshades, brackets, plates and plinths for this project.

2009 - Boddington Gold Mine

The Boddington Gold Mine is a 2.4 billion dollar mine located 130km south east of Perth. When in full operation it will be the biggest in Australia, delivering gold and copper.

TCG Industries supplied products including:  IJB Equipment Stands, Weather Shields, Sun Shades, HDG Steel and various other required bracketing etc.

2009 - Darwin Blacktip Project

The Blacktip gas field is a project to supply natural gas to Alcan’s alumina refinery at Alcan Gove in the Northern Territory. TCG Industries were awarded the contract to supply 200 units of specially designed Instrument Stands to Darwin that required a special surface treatment to withstand the harsh conditions of the Northern Territory. The surface treatment was marine three coat poly. The customer informed TCG Industries it's product exceeded their expectations.
